Located on the banks of the Delaware River, Callicoon is a small town packed with personality. Stop by for essentials at Spruce or enjoy a delicious cocktail at Catskill Provisions. Callicoon's river bank offers many water sport activities, such as kayaking, canoeing, rafting, tubing, swimming, fly fishing, and eagle watching.
Good, old-fashioned fun for every age and every stage.

Swim, fish and canoe on the pond.

Deer Hill's private pond is just a 5 minute walk from the house. It's a serene spot to fish in solitude, read a book in the hammock, glide on a canoe or swim with the whole family. The pond is stocked with trout who bite best around evening time - just in time to throw one on the grill for dinnertime.

Hike the trails and explore the woods.

The 250-acre property has hours of hiking and nature watching. Hike to Space Meadow, hang out at Bobcat Rock, or take a shortcut through the Narrows to the Haybales field. Along the way, you may just come across a bear, so don't forget the bear horn!

Jump, play and hang on the trampoline and hammocks.

Channel your inner kid and jump on the 12-foot in-ground trampoline...good for ages 2 to 92!
Or better yet, grab a cozy blanket and lose yourself in a good book on the hammock under the mulberry tree or by the pond.
